Unfortunately my pre-school compositions weren’t going to win any prizes, but since I decided that writing was my vocation, I’ve had an extensive career in the media.
I’ve compiled flow charts for teenage magazines, made myself the guinea pig for six months of diets, interviewed two Doctor Whos at once and produced slick PR copy for health care training providers.
I’ve also spent the night with sex workers on the streets of Cardiff, chatted to Anne Widdecombe about being grumpy and attended the first ever Women’s Equality Party conference – all in the line of duty.
In 2015, I was named Feature Writer of the Year at the Wales Media Awards.
I live in South Manchester. For an extensive portfolio of my work until May 2010, click here
