The crises of the last two years has seen hundreds of thousands of refugees trying to find a better life for themselves – and sometime their efforts have seen their lives end.
There’s a tiny Greek island, Lesvos, where the people have turned from fishermen to people catchers as they attempt to save sodden and scared incomers.
One of Stratis’ fisherman colleagues puts it best when he explains in the film: “We were fishing for people instead of fish.”
Heartbreaking and horrifying but also a sign of the power of human kindness.
